Didn't follow through

Well, it was a valiant effort, but I wasn't too successful with this project. In all honesty, I think I did okay as I made it halfway through the year with posting. Things went awry in August when I had camera trouble. I never caught up after that. I must say that I am impressed with those that actually took a photo each day. I salute you! Very impressive.

While I would like to say that I'm going to do this again, as I do like the notion of this project, it is not. In my heart of hearts, I know that I can't keep up. I'm not going to stop taking photos as I did give myself a new toy this holiday season. I've also acquired a fascinating photo editing program that is quite powerful. I've been spending some time over the past few days learning the software.

With that being said, I don't think I could devote the time needed to process photos each and every day. Therefore, I will post sporadically on my blog. Perhaps, I'll come back to this space in 2010 once I become more adept at photo editing. In the mean time, I hope to see you over at On Any Given Day...

Way off

My camera started giving me trouble back in August. It was at that point that I lost the momentum for a photo a day. As of yesterday I'm at 299 photos. Well, simple math will tell anyone that I'm missing double the amount of photos that I should be at this point.

Again, it was August where it all went downhill. I missed several days during that month, and I jus didn't really get my mojo back. I'm going to keep pushing forward and tr to do the post a day through the end of December. Not sure if I'll continue this in 2009 or not though. We'll see how I feel come 1/1/09.
